As a Lead, you help guide the team and support operations to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

Position Summary

The Lead supports daily restaurant operations by guiding team members, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role acts as a leader on duty and works closely with management to maintain quality, service, and operational efficiency.

This is a non-exempt position that supports both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

As a Lead, you will:

• Support daily restaurant operations by assisting in leading team members during shifts
• Provide coaching, direction, and real-time feedback to team members
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met
• Assist in coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house operations for smooth service flow
• Monitor service times and support efficiency during peak business periods
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and shift support tasks
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the restaurant
• Step into various roles as needed, including service, kitchen, or support positions
• Follow all company policies and applicable federal, state, and local laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour – $22.00 per hour

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds
• Bend, reach, stoop, and move frequently
• Perform repetitive motions related to service and kitchen tasks
• Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with exposure to heat and noise

Work Environment

This role operates in a full-service restaurant environment and may involve exposure to kitchen areas, food preparation equipment, high guest volume, and fast-paced service conditions. Team members are expected to follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
