In this role, you’ll be a hands-on clinical partner to cardiologists and nurses—helping deliver high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care in a dynamic outpatient setting.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our clinical team, you will:

• Create a positive patient experience – greet patients, gather medical histories, and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for

• Lead patient intake and rooming – take vitals, prepare patients for exams, and assist with procedures

• Support specialized cardiology care – perform EKGs and assist with stress testing and other diagnostic procedures

• Document with precision – accurately record patient data in the electronic health record (EHR) system

• Assist with clinical decision flow – support triage by prioritizing patient needs and communicating with providers

• Keep the day running smoothly – collaborate with the care team to maintain patient flow and minimize wait times

• Adapt quickly – step into a busy environment and contribute from day one

• Stay flexible – occasionally travel to nearby offices to support patient care

What You Bring

• Experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) – 1+ years preferred (motivated entry-level candidates considered)

• Strong understanding of clinical workflows in an outpatient setting

• Experience with EHR systems and accurate clinical documentation

• Ability to perform EKGs and support basic triage activities

• A detail-oriented, team-focused mindset

• Ability to stay organized and efficient in a high-volume environment

Bonus Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification

• Prior cardiology or specialty practice experience

• Experience assisting with stress testing

• Proven ability to hit the ground running

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
