About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its investment banking division. The successful candidate will be tasked with originating new M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of clients, including business owners, executives, private equity investors, and strategic acquirers. This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead transaction execution, serve as a trusted advisor on strategic and financial matters, and expand the firm's presence within a designated industry vertical. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for mentoring and developing junior investment banking professionals and collaborating with internal sector teams to ensure the delivery of top-tier client solutions. Applicants for the Managing Director position should be current Managing Directors, Directors, or Senior Vice Presidents with a strong origination track record, and at least 10 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance. The role demands a candidate with established relationships in the business services, technology, healthcare, industrials, consumer, or aerospace and defense sectors, and a proven ability to source, market, and close middle-market transactions. Strong leadership, business development, and client management skills are essential, as is experience in advising a range of clients, including those that are founder-owned, private equity-backed, and corporate.
