Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work in a dynamic school setting near Torrance, CA! This contract position is ideal for a dedicated OT with school-based experience, looking to make an impact as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year. Key Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and delivering direct therapy services to students
• Ability to document treatment effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexible to adapt to different school environments and caseloads as assignments are finalized

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, consultation, and direct therapy for students as part of their IEP services
• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at increasing students’ success in academic and daily life activities
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to tailor interventions that promote student progress
• Serve multiple sites, adapting therapy sessions to the needs of diverse school communities
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and team consultations as required

Position Details:

• Contract assignment beginning ASAP and running through the end of the school year
• Flexible schedule: 3 days a week, totaling approximately 21-24 hours
• Multiple school sites provide a varied and engaging work experience
