Caregiver Caregiver Setting: Assisted Living Facility (ALF) Status: PRN Must have experience and willing to work weekends. Location: The Pearl at Kruse Way, 4550 Carman Drive, Lake Oswego, Oregon 97035 The caregiver's duties encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living, emotional support, housekeeping, and ensuring the resident's safety and well-being. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Personal Hygiene: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Mobility Assistance: Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids. Meal Preparation: Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms. Emotional Support and Companionship: Providing Emotional Support: Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement. Companionship: Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation. Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up. Health Monitoring and Medical Advocacy: Observing residents for changes in health, reporting concerns to medical professionals, and monitoring vital signs. Other: Answer resident calls for assistance timely; Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe work environment for residents, staff, and visitors; Report safety concerns in the resident apartments to the supervisor; Assist with the orientation of new residents and staff when assigned; Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor. Requirements and Qualifications Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and or Assisted Living Facility. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification during employment. Must have the ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
