Purpose: Parrish DeVaughn seeks a full-time Legal Assistant who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting personal injury attorneys and helping clients navigate the legal system. This role is vital to our team and plays a key part in delivering exceptional service and case results for our personal injury clients. The role will be based in our new Oklahoma City , Oklahoma, office. Key Responsibilities: Maintain contact with Clients throughout the duration of their case to provide status updates, answer questions, and obtain important information. Work with medical providers to coordinate medical treatment for Clients, confirm account balances, and provide case status updates. Communicate professionally and effectively with insurance adjusters to discuss case facts and determine relevant coverage information. Review incoming correspondence and save applicable information electronically in Case Management Software (Litify). Work closely with Attorneys to discuss incoming correspondence, medical treatment, insurance information, and case status. Prepare and submit finalized disbursement packets to accounting for review upon settlement. Execute various data entry in Case Management Software. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: No prior experience or training. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
