The Contoocook School, located in Contoocook, NH, is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide focused, real‑time instruction to adolescents in grades 6-12 requiring integrated social thinking and executive functioning support. Responsibilities Planning, developing, and implementing lessons tailored to student needs. Implementation of IEPs. Assessment of student progress. Providing instruction across all required content areas. Creativity related to hands‑on, experiential learning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. NH teaching license or statement of eligibility (SOE) in General Special Education (1900). Experience working with youth with various mental‑health and special‑education needs. For individuals with an SOE, we will work with you on a site‑based learning plan toward full licensure as a General Special Education teacher. Licenses & Certifications Required: General Special Education license. Preferred: Teacher license.
