Instrument/Analyzer – Commerce City Refinery We are looking for an Instrument/Analyzer to support our Commerce City Refinery. In this role, you will support process operations, maintenance, and engineering by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing process control system equipment. Qualifications An Associate's Degree in the Instrument and Controls field OR Successful completion of a formal program in the field of Process Instrumentation through military service or crafts apprenticeship program with 5 years of recent practical experience in maintenance of industrial instrumentation and controls equipment (calibration of smart transmitters, PLC, DCS, AMS, rebuild control valves, etc). Current ISA (Formerly: Instrument Society of America) CCST Certification Level I (or equivalent). Responsibilities Maintain online analytical instrumentation through preventative and corrective maintenance. Perform routine checks and maintenance required to ensure equipment functionality and reliability. Maintain accurate and thorough records of all analytical equipment calibrations in accordance with site quality procedures and documentation best practices. Troubleshoot and repair issues that impair proper functionality of analytical systems. Provide the required support needed to resolve non‑scheduled priority jobs during normal and after‑hours. Assist with updating and creating equipment specification sheets, CEMS equipment files, checklists and procedures. Respond to work orders, overtime situations, and the needs of the refinery. Look for opportunities to improve reliability. Location and Key Details You will work out of our Commerce City refinery, located at 5801 Brighton Blvd. This position is safety sensitive. Hours Hours of work are a regular 40‑hour work week, 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday OR 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday, depending on business needs. Paid overtime, often 100‑600+ hours per year based on plant needs. Compensation This is a union represented position under USW 12‑477. Hourly rate: $55.16 per hour with annual increases.
