Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Ability to assess and address diverse student needs
• Flexibility to manage a dynamic caseload and collaborate within an educational team
• Knowledge of current therapy techniques and interventions for school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine student needs for occupational therapy
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans tailored for each student
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities
• Support students with activities of daily living, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and regulation
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to ensure student success
• Maintain organized and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
• Provide resources and training to school staff on relevant OT strategies and accommodations
