Substitute Security Monitors
Renhill Group is currently recruiting Substitute Security Monitors for Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is on call and as needed throughout the school year.
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma/equivalent
- Aide permit or student monitor permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education. Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed. Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education.
- BCI & FBI background checks. Dated within the past 12 months. On file with the Ohio Department of Education. Can be conducted by Renhill Group for one of the area's lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them. Call to make an appointment.
Necessary skills/duties:
- Monitor and direct student movement and activity in and around school grounds
- Assist in protecting school property
- Intervene in and stop physical altercations
- Assist in the supervision of high priority common areas such as cafeterias, halls, study halls, and restrooms
- Conduct and supervise detentions
Enrollment in School Employees Retirement System (SERS) with 14% employer match.
