We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke.
\n \nThis advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. We are welcoming new caregivers to collaborate within our multidisciplinary teams and contribute to nationally recognized, innovative neurological care. \n \nThe Level IV M60 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) provides expert care to adult patients with suspected or confirmed seizure disorders. Caregivers in this unit are passionate about supporting both the physical and mental struggles associated with these conditions, as many patients experience high anxiety due to the uncertainty of diagnosis and treatment.
\n \nHours: 24 hours per week. 2 Days or 2 Nights per week. Rotating days/nights from 7:00am- 7:30pm or 7:00pm- 7:30am
\n \nA caregiver who excels in this role will:

Provide direct nursing care.
\n - \n
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
\n - \n
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
\n - \n
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
\n - \n
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
\n - \n
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
\n - \n
Educate patients and their families.
\n
Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred .
\n - \n
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
\n - \n
One year of current or recent acute care RN experience . Will consider military RN experience
\n - \n
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
\n
Physical Requirements:

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
\n - \n
Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
\n - \n
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
\n - \n
Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
\n - \n
Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
\n - \n
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Pay Range
\n \nMinimum hourly: $35.50
\n \nMaximum hourly: $55.60
\nThe pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
