Database AdministratorInsight Global is currently looking for a Database Administrator to support one of our largest retail HVAC manufacturing clients in the greater Houston area. This person will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise database platforms across on prem, cloud, and hybrid environments while ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of business critical systems. They will support SQL Server and other enterprise databases, drive automation and observability initiatives, optimize database performance, strengthen backup and disaster recovery capabilities, and partner closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to improve overall platform reliability. This individual will play a key role in reducing operational risk, improving service delivery, supporting cloud modernization efforts, and helping the organization transition from reactive database support to a proactive, automated, and resilient database operations model. This position is onsite in Waller, TX 4 days/week, and the pay rate will be between $45 to $52/hr.
