Overview
A growing organization within the flexible packaging and films industry is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to support business development efforts across key industrial and manufacturing markets within IL PA and NJ. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on selling film and conversion solutions to manufacturing-based customers.
The company is targeting an early-to-mid career sales professional with approximately 3 5 years of experience who is looking to continue building a long-term career within industrial sales and flexible packaging. This role offers strong autonomy direct customer exposure and uncapped earning potential for someone motivated by prospecting relationship development and territory growth.
The position reports directly to senior sales leadership and is ideal for a self-motivated individual who enjoys developing new business while maintaining strong customer relationships within a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Development & Prospecting
- Develop new business opportunities within assigned regional markets across Illinois Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- Target manufacturers converters industrial processors and packaging-related accounts
- Build relationships with purchasing teams operations leaders and decision-makers
- Maintain consistent outbound prospecting activity through calls email outreach networking and customer visits
- Sales & Account Management
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and ongoing account support
- Identify opportunities for film packaging and conversion-related solutions
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while expanding wallet share
- Collaborate internally to ensure strong customer service and order execution
Remote Territory Management
- Effectively manage priorities scheduling and territory activity within a fully remote structure
- Maintain regular communication with leadership regarding pipeline activity and sales performance
- Utilize CRM systems to manage opportunities customer activity and forecasting
- Market & Customer Engagement
- Represent the company professionally within the marketplace and at industry-related events when needed
- Stay informed on market trends competitive activity and customer needs within flexible packaging and films
- Support lead generation and follow-up initiatives across assigned territory markets
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3 5 years of B2B sales experience required
- Experience within plastics packaging films converting industrial manufacturing or related industries preferred
- Strong interest in new business development and customer-facing sales
- Comfortable working independently within a fully remote environment
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with manufacturing-based customers
- Experience utilizing CRM systems and maintaining organized pipeline activity
- Willingness to travel within assigned regional markets as needed
