Ultrasound Sonographer

$2720.00/week - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced adult echo sonographer to perform cardiovascular ultrasound exams in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role involves preparing diagnostic reports and ensuring quality imaging for accurate patient assessment. Responsibilities: Perform adult echocardiograms, including use of image-enhancing agents and shunt (bubble) studies. Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as STRAIN imaging to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare preliminary reports for review by the physician, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including Philips Epiq 7, GE Vivid E95, and Logiq 10 systems. Adhere to departmental protocols and safety guidelines, including patient preparation and IV insertion if applicable. Collaborate with clinical team members, including preceptors and lead sonographers, for ongoing quality improvement. Qualifications: Certified in Adult Echo via ARDMS, RCS, RDMS, or RDCS. Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing adult echocardiograms in a clinical setting. Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and software such as PACS and EMR systems. Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and pathology relevant to echocardiography. Excellent communication skills to document findings and coordinate with physicians.
