Assistant Golf Professional

Overview The Assistant Golf Professional provides support with demonstrated knowledge of the game of golf and will assist with the oversight of daily golf operations. This includes managing and tracking play, protecting and controlling assets, tournament execution, private instruction, playing golf with members, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience. This position will assist the Director of Golf and professional staff with all golf shop operations. Experience Required To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Knowledge of ForeTees, Jonas Club Software, Golf Genius and GHIN preferred. Essential Responsibilities DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, but are not limited to) Maintain an active classification in the PGA of America. Control & manage play on a daily basis; ensure guest check-in and fee collection in coordination with the starters and outside staff. Operate consistently in a full service, high volume Golf Shop. Assist with tournament operations from setup through scoring using Golf Genius program. Play golf with members, guests, and prospective members. Participate in the season longPro-Membertournament.
