Unlike many feed manufacturers, we focus on quality over quantity. Our feeds are made with set formulas, premium ingredients, and efficient manufacturing practices designed to help customers improve livestock health, performance, and overall results.We serve a diverse group of large and small customers who come to Hunter Nutrition for better-fortified feeds, dependable service, and a commitment to quality.**What We Offer**Hunter Nutrition offers competitive compensation based on experience ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 along with benefits including health insurance and a SIMPLE IRA.**What You'll Do**As **Business Manager**, you'll play an important role in overseeing daily office operations, supporting and supervising staff, assisting customers, and helping ensure business processes are completed accurately and within company guidelines.**Responsibilities Include:*** Oversee daily office operations, including organization, efficiency, purchasing, marketing support, and customer relations* Manage and support office staff to ensure work is completed accurately and on time* Provide customer service by answering phones, greeting walk-in customers, processing customer orders, and responding to customer requests* Support customer relationships and help ensure a high level of service for livestock producers and feed customers* Assist with accounts receivable, including recording customer payments, generating invoices and statements, and managing delinquent accounts as needed* Assist with accounts payable by accurately entering bills into the system* Complete account reconciliations, data entry, and reporting using QuickBooks* Assist with basic payroll functions* Track inventory and assist with ingredient purchasing* Maintain current formula and feed tag files using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Publisher* Assist with marketing, advertising, ad development, and placement as assigned* Provide general business management support across office, customer service, accounting, and operational processes**What We're Looking For****Required Qualifications:*** Prior agriculture or agribusiness experience* Bachelor's degree* 2 or more years of office management experience* QuickBooks experience* Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel, and Publisher* Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities* Strong customer service and communication skills* Positive attitude and strong work ethic**Preferred Experience:*** Livestock, feed, animal nutrition, or agricultural production background* Experience supporting purchasing, inventory, payroll, or business management processes* Previous employee supervision or office leadership experience**Please include a brief description of your agriculture or agribusiness experience when applying.**
