GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

1. Assists with administering, directing and coordinating activities of Outpatient Physical Therapy services at New Castle.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise employees and completes annual appraisals in a timely manner.
2. Set schedules for employees.
3. Communicate effectively with Director of Rehab Services to keep him/her informed of any issues or concerns.
4. Take inventory to ensure proper supplies are available for patient care.
5. Ensure reputation of Inpatient Rehab Services.
6. Make sure competencies are completed.
7. Ensure compliance with JCAHO.
8. Assists with financial and physical resource management by providing input into the capital and operating budget process, identifying cost containment strategies, and assisting in the procurement and management of resources.
9. Assists with compliance of infection control standards, risk management issues, unit specific quality control standards, emergency preparedness, equipment management, unit specific competency program, and requirements of all regulatory agencies at clinic.
10. Participates in the selection and orientation process of new employees at clinic.
11. Provides direct patient care as needed.
12. Serves as a clinical resource to staff members.
13. Serves as liaison regarding coordination of patient care and resolution of issues between all inpatient staff.
14. Assists with gathering and analyzing data for performance improvement activities.
15. Performs chart reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy.
• Physical Therapy Licensure to practice in Colorado. (DORA/Compact)
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated ability in interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills.
• 1-year Rehabilitation experience.

SALARY RANGE

• ‎$50.56 - $75.85/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
