Job Overview Join Van-Am Tool & Engineering as a Full-Time Welder in Saint Joseph, MO. This onsite position offers a competitive pay range of $18 to $27 per hour, based on skill level and experience. Shift Schedule All shifts: hand welding and robotic welding. Differentials are paid for nights and weekend shifts. Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday (4 days) Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Friday-Saturday (3 days, 11% differential paid) Responsibilities Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques. Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools. Inspect welds for accuracy and quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Experienced welder with strong technical skill and precision. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment. Proficient with MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques. Capable of performing regular equipment maintenance and inspection. Detail oriented and maintains a clean, organized workspace.
