Human Resources Specialist

The Human Resources Specialist will handle and provide support for various HR employee programs within the organization. Essential duties and responsibilities include maintaining personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements, keeping employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in Workday in a timely fashion, maintaining listing of approved hires and track terminations with proper communication with both, developing and distributing various reports, effectively communicating with internal employees and managers regarding Human Resources processes, having a strong understanding of Cambria's benefits and be able to answer questions, effectively filing forms in personnel files, distributing mail, assisting with unemployment claims, participating in meetings and assisting in improving processes, ad hoc projects assigned depending on business needs, and escalating issues to the Human Resources Director when necessary. Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problem.

Qualifications and skills include a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines, maintaining a high level of confidentiality and sense of urgency, excellent customer relations skills, with the ability to relate effectively and sensitively, strong problem solving skills and a desire to partner with key stakeholders to improve processes, positive and self-motivated individual who can work independently, and have a basic knowledge of employment laws.

Minimum qualifications include an Associates Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred, 0-3 years experience in Human Resources, strong computer proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), Google Suite, and Workday experience preferred.

Travel requirements are minimal between local Cambria locations. Physical requirements include office position requiring telephone and computer use, able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally/sparingly (office supplies, packages, samples), may need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally, prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $25.00-$33.00/hour. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
