This position will require regular review and maintenance of the CDS environment, implementation of tasking and updates, and providing emergency break-fix support as needed.Note: There is an expectation that the performer will be able to reasonably respond to occasional after hours/weekend calls to provide support should CDS operations break during these periods. The ask is not for 24/7 support; and times where the candidate would not be available for after-hours support can be coordinated with the team lead. We anticipate that the current approximate average of 4 hours of after-hours support per month will actually be less with consistent Linux administration support to the CDS systems that this position will be providing.TaskingSystem Monitoring and Log ManagementSystem Maintenance and SecurityUser Support and Account ManagementEndpoint, Bridge Server, and Data Flow AdministrationPerformer RequirementsNote: Experience with CDS administration would definitely be a plus, but is not required.Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science * or* CompTIA Security+ CertificationTraining in Red Hat Enterprise Linux3-years experience in RedHat Enterprise Linux administrationKnowledge of Apace NiFi software components and configurationClearance: TS/SCI Eligibility. Routine SCIF and SCI level access will be required to perform CDS administration, installation, and maintenance activities for JWICS connected CDSs. As a privileged user, the background investigation required is Tier 5 (formerly known as SSBI).Ability to travel to Stennis Space Center for 2 one-week periods for training
