Area Business Director (Gastroenterology) - Suncoast

Responsibilities: Achieve sales objectives. Establish and implement an effective sales plan to meet (ideally exceed) sales goals and corporate objectives. Collaborate with peers to optimize product opportunities with large gastroenterology group practices. Coordinate with Marketing, Patient Services, and Market Access to share territory insights and best practices. Master clinical data, disease state knowledge, competitive products, and market access information to deliver relevant messaging. Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company compliance policies. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech industry sales experience. Specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience; gastroenterology preferred. Proven track record of achieving and/or outperforming sales goals; product launch experience. Experience with patient service hubs and specialty pharmacy distribution knowledge. Demonstrated competitive market experience. Ability to understand/develop and implement sales strategies and tactics; strong clinical/scientific acumen. Understanding of laws/regulations for pharmaceutical sales/marketing to physicians and healthcare organizations. Ability to analyze sales data and KPI metrics to identify business opportunities. Bachelor’s degree. Integrity/attention to detail; prior sales management experience (plus). Gastroenterology HCP relationships and local patient advocacy relationships (plus). Compensation/Benefits (as stated): Anticipated base pay range: $145,000–$190,000; may include bonus and equity (eligibility required). 401(k) with employer match, paid parental leave, living organ/bone marrow leave, health plans, life insurance/disability, flexible time off, winter holiday shut down, and at least 11 paid holidays.
