Details Outpatient clinic setting with orthopedic patient population Patient ratio of 1:2 Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with alternating start times of 7:30am-4:00pm and 10:30am-7:00pm 13-week contract assignment Charting system experience required (any EMR) Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience within the last 7 years MD PT license required if applicable, or compact license accepted BLS certification required CertDN certification preferred Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment Orthopedic outpatient clinic experience required Charge experience required Experience with ankle sprains, cervicalgia, DDD, DJD, hip and knee injuries, low back pain, sciatica, and spinal conditions Experience with gait training, assistive devices, and modalities such as cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, moist heat, and TENS Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation including assessments, discharge summaries, plans of care, and short/long term goals Experience with patient and family education, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention preferred Sports medicine, vestibular, and concussion experience preferred Extremity mobilization, myofascial release, and spinal mobilization skills preferred No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, which must be submitted at time of application Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate Candidates with prior employment at this healthcare system must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-707866.
