Distribution Specialist

Position Summary The Distribution Specialist is part of the Supply Chain Operations team responsible for monitoring and ensuring supply and patient care equipment are maintained. The role includes resolving and fulfilling requests and inquiries, directly contributing to excellent health‑care experiences for patients and families. Responsibilities Verify materials and receipt documentation against purchase orders and purchase order receipts. Coordinate with Purchasing personnel to resolve purchase order or receipt discrepancies. Package and process supplies and materials returned to vendors or other facilities, and coordinate shipping. Supply stores stock supplies within the designated Distribution Storeroom location. Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution of products, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital central service, or inventory control (or a combination of knowledge and education that would exhibit the qualifications to execute the duties of the position). Computer input/keyboard experience desired. Computerized materials management system experience preferred. Experience using electronic signature software preferred. Basic experience in PC business applications, including MS Word and Excel.
