Hello. My name is Don Viterelli. I am one of the hospital based radiology managers. I oversee the cat scan M. R. I. And ultrasound departments here in radiology. Um One of the most unique parts of my day coming to cooper is that I never know what I'm going to walk into. Um Which makes it very exciting because I love problem solving. I love helping out my coworkers. I love working with other department heads to try to provide the best patient care and also to ensure that our patients have the best outcome possible. Um The other part that I love is that everyone that I work with is part of my family, my second family, my home away from home family and I enjoy working with every single one of them and I really appreciate the care that cooper gives to its employees and to their patients and I'm happy to be part of this team.

Short Description

Performs radiographic procedures according to established hospital standards, state, and federal regulations.

Experience Required

• Thorough understanding of Radiologic principles and theory, anatomy and pathology processes utilizing the most appropriate technique and/or positioning.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Education Requirements

Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school.

License/Certification Requirements

• A New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) License is required.
• The ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and /or certification by the NJ State Board of Examiners.

Special Requirements

BLS/CPR preferred, required after 6 months' employment

Hourly Rate Min $29.79

Hourly Rate Max $45.34

The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
