Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg/Telemetry

This position follows a structured clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text, where applicable. Decisions are typically made the same day or by the next business day.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries. Attendance is essential, with a commitment to reporting for all assigned shifts on time. This role involves direct patient care and requires a focus on the safety and well-being of patients.

Must-Have:

• Competency with cardiac medications such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, and Bumex, along with knowledge of titration and application.
• Competency in telemetry with knowledge of heart rhythms.
• Critical thinking skills to recognize changes in patient status and intervene appropriately.
• Knowledge of signs and symptoms of stroke to recognize changes in patient status and intervene.
• Strong communication skills.
