Responsible for meeting organizational goals in safety, production, quality, and customer service. Hours: 2:30p - 11:30p RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and drive NIBCO Core Values in every area and process Supervise all production operations including indirect areas to optimize production levels Plan, schedule, and coordinate department activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products on time Expectation to deliver and meet organizational goals related to safety, quality, customer service, and productivity Ability to effectively communicate to various levels within the organization Drive and lead 6S principles amongst the plant Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives Ability to calmly manage multiple priorities in a high stakes environment Recognize all potential safety hazards and assign resources to address and prevent them in the future Establish and support a positive safety culture across the manufacturing environment All other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience manufacturing supervision experience. 3-5 years Lean Manufacturing experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience using IQMS, SAP, and work order systems preferred. EDUCATION: Associate degree or technical schooling preferred or 5 10 years progressive manufacturing experience. Preferred knowledge in plastic injection molding. TRAINING AND SKILLS: Demonstrated ability in servant leadership is required; strong organizational and time management skills. Quality driven. Excellent oral and written communication.
