Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Iowa Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 150-day assignment in Iowa, starting May 25, 2026. This role involves working 4-5 days out of the week, with shifts from 8:30am to 4:30pm, including clinical consults and patient rounding either early in the morning or at lunchtime. You will manage a diverse patient population, addressing both acute and chronic conditions such as COPD, diabetes, and respiratory infections, while also providing essential preventive care including annual wellness visits and immunizations. Responsibilities and Duties Clinical consults and patient rounding either early morning or at lunchtime. Provide comprehensive care for chronic conditions including COPD, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, heart disease, and diabetes. Manage acute care needs such as respiratory infections (flu, cold, strep, pneumonia) and skin issues (rashes, lesions). Conduct annual wellness visits and immunization screenings. Address general patient concerns including headaches, dizziness, and fatigue.
