Certified Public Accountant (India)

Apply your CPA (India) expertise to analyze US tax law and legal materials, support US tax compliance interpretation, and provide high-quality domain input used to train next-generation AI systems. This is a remote contractor role based in India. No prior experience in AI is required; deep tax domain knowledge is the primary requirement.

• Analyze, interpret, and annotate sections of the Internal Revenue Code and related US Treasury Regulations, with emphasis on statutory language and exceptions.
• Review and assess US tax legal documents for clarity, technical accuracy, and proper application of statutory rules.
• Evaluate individual tax returns (Form 1040) in the context of current IRS guidance and regulations.
• Draft clear summaries and explanatory notes that translate complex tax law concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or potential areas of confusion within legal documents or IRS source materials.
• Collaborate via digital platforms, delivering high-quality written content and clear verbal communication on findings and recommendations.
• Contribute expertise that shapes how AI models learn, reason, and perform on US tax topics.

• Active Certified Public Accountant (India) qualification.
• Demonstrable expertise in US tax law, including strong familiarity with the Internal Revenue Code and US Treasury Regulations.
• Proven experience reviewing or preparing US individual tax returns, Form 1040.
• Experience with legal document review and interpreting statutes and tax-related regulations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical legal language clearly.
• Detail-oriented, able to identify statutory exceptions and regulatory nuances.
• Interest in projects at the intersection of finance, law, and technology. No prior AI experience required.
• Core skills required: US Tax Law, Legal Document Review, Internal Revenue Code (IRC), Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040).
