Office Supervisor

Job Title This is a working supervisory position. Individuals assigned to this job direct, coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operations/activities of a clerical/administrative unit or team while regularly performing all or many of the duties of those supervised. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: directing, training, monitoring, mentoring and appraising the work of, and recommending HR actions and pay decisions for, those assigned to this unit or team, and tracking on-going unit performance to ensure the meeting of unit, and support the attainment of overall departmental goals. Participates with other peers, staff and higher management in department planning and budgetary processes. Suggests ways for unit improvement. May perform other duties as requested. Specific for Destination (Welcome/Kiosk) locations: Monitors patient workflow with kiosk check-in, and those patients who need to be directed to front desk access associate for assistance. Ensures that those team members are trained to perform/understand all specialties servicing the campus. Works with practice managers to ensure that clinical triage is available to the front area at all times. Monitors pre-registration for pre-booked and same day appointments; this is essential in a Welcome setting to reduce number of patients who cannot use kiosk for check-in. Supervises cash handling and copay collections. Required Qualifications: 3 years previous experience in office operations, preferably in billing, data management and/or medical records Proficient with PC and office programs including, but not limited to: database management, spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software. Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal communication, organization and people skills with demonstrated ability to lead or direct people Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Paradox software experience may be required Bilingual preferred. Education: Licenses / Certifications: Physical Requirements: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 City: Batavia Postal Code: 14020 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
