Overview Pediatric Development - Behavioral physician job in New Hampshire Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician Opportunity, Elliot Health System and Dartmouth Health Children’s, Manchester, New Hampshire Position : Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to join outpatient (M-F daytime) clinic, currently comprised of two experienced DB pediatricians, in collaboration with Dartmouth Health Children’s and its experienced DB pediatrician. This is an opportunity to join collaborative and supportive teams serving children and families across New Hampshire and to advance the field academically. Scope and Collaboration : The EDBH team and the Child Development Program at Dartmouth Health Children’s collaborate with the State of New Hampshire to provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education for patients and families, focusing on children under age 15. We care for a broad spectrum of developmental and behavioral conditions, including: Learning disorders Attention and behavioral disorders Regulatory disorders Neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders Global developmental delays Behavioral and developmental challenges associated with chronic or disabling pediatric conditions Teaching and Academic Opportunities : Teaching medical students and Dartmouth Health Children’s pediatrics residents, along with Leadership Education in Neurodevelopment (LEND) trainees, is expected. Appointment to the faculty at The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be offered, at a rank commensurate with experience and academic portfolio, to the successful candidate. Practice Setting : Dartmouth Health Children’s provides an extended system of care with primary, specialty, and advanced tertiary pediatric services, including an inpatient pediatric unit with PICU, level II Pediatric Trauma Center, and level IV NICU at its flagship Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD) in Lebanon, NH. DH Children’s also operates 10 pediatric primary care medical homes across the region and a comprehensive ambulatory specialty center at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Manchester, where it partners with The Elliot, which hosts a level III NICU, 24/7 pediatric emergency department, and inpatient pediatric unit. Location : EDBH Pediatrics is located within the Elliot Pediatric Specialties suite, which also houses Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and Neonatology Follow-Up Clinics, providing a multidisciplinary environment for coordinated pediatric care.
