Great Hill is seeking a Senior Accountant to support our federal customer. Basic Qualifications Seven (7)+ years of experience in accounting, with at least three (3) years in federal or DoW government accounting Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and federal accounting standards (FASAB) Experience with general ledger, subsidiary ledger, and budgetary/proprietary account reconciliation Experience preparing adjusting journal entries, including corrections to accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Working knowledge of OMB Circular A-136 financial reporting requirements Experience supporting financial data calls to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., DFAS, OSD, OMB) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a minimum of 24 semester hours in Accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing Desired Skills CPA licensure or CDFM/CGFM certification Experience with GFEBS financial accounting system, including journal entry processing Experience calculating PP&E depreciation and maintaining asset records Experience supporting indirect cost models and reimbursement analysis (G-Invoicing, IPAC) Experience supporting financial audit sample preparation and documentation Salary at Seneca is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The range of this position in other geographic locations may differ. The projected compensation range for this position is below. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
