Tasting Room & Estate Hospitality Support- PT

Piazza Family Wines is looking for a part-time hospitality team member to support our Los Olivos tasting room, private estate tastings, Saturdays, Sundays, and select busy weeks. This is an alternate/support position, ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, wine, and creating a thoughtful guest experience, but may not be looking for a full-time role. The candidate may work in our Los Olivos tasting room or support private tastings at our estate vineyard, Bella Vista Vineyard, in Ballard Canyon. Piazza launches limited-production wines from our two estate vineyards in Santa Barbara County: Bella Vista Vineyard in Ballard Canyon and Mt. Carmel Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. We seek someone warm, polished, reliable, and comfortable engaging with guests in a casual luxury setting. The right person should enjoy storytelling, be comfortable with sales, and understand that hospitality is about making people feel genuinely welcomed while representing the brand with care. Responsibilities Hosting guided tastings in the Los Olivos tasting room and/or at the Piazza estate Sharing the story of Piazza Family Wines, our estate vineyards, and our wines Supporting wine sales, wine club sign-ups, and guest follow-up Assisting with opening, closing, restocking, polishing glassware, and general tasting room flow Supporting private estate tastings, events, busy weekends, and high-traffic days Maintaining a clean, elevated, and organized hospitality environment Ideal Candidate Has previous tasting room, winery, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience Is available Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional additional weekday/event support Is dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently or with a small team Enjoys talking with guests and creating meaningful wine experiences Has an interest in Santa Barbara County wine, estate vineyards, and small-production wineries Is comfortable hosting guests in both a tasting room and estate vineyard setting Must be 21+ Wine knowledge is needed, but the most important qualities are warmth, reliability, professionalism, and a genuine love of hospitality Schedule Saturdays, Sundays, and select busy weekends as needed.
