Material Handler - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Material Handler• Pay Rate: $20.00/hr• Location: New Brighton, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 4AM-2:30PM• Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:• Experience operating forklift, pallet jacks, and tugger.• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights.• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.• Prior material handling experience is preferred.Duties and Responsibilities:• Deliver materials for customer orders to production on a timed, consumption-based delivery within the facility.• Support and promote Lean/5S continuous improvement and safety standards.• Utilize appropriate equipment (forklift, tugger, WAV, etc.) to pick, deliver and put away materials.• Must have the ability to learn clients' products and basic product structures.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck-it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
