Overview
MRI Technologist (Radiology) – MRI Tech in Saratoga Springs, New York. This travel assignment commences on 08/17/2026 for a duration of Weeks with a weekly pay range of $2,551–$2,759 per week and guaranteed hours of 0.0. The shift is an 8-hour evening schedule (5x8) Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. The role is in a hospital-based outpatient imaging setting within an Albany-area health system.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations on patients following established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Properly position patients, select imaging sequences, apply coils, and monitor sessions to maximize image quality and patient safety.
- Screen patients for contraindications, manage safety procedures, and communicate findings to the radiology team as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting in the designated electronic medical record system; coordinate with radiologists and other staff.
- Float within the hospital as needed to support MRI/Radiology services within the skill set and scope of practice.

Requirements
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license (permanent) in-hand prior to start
- ARRT-MR certification
- Minimum 2 years MRI experience in a clinical setting
- IV contrast/injection certification (required if performing CT with contrast)
- CT competency is a plus; ability to perform CT with IV contrast preferred
- Siemens MRI experience preferred (Espree preferred); Epic experience preferred
- Eligible to work in the outpatient imaging setting; travel assignment requires eligible status

- Local radius restriction: Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the assignment location; candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles are not accepted
- Pre-employment: Allied modules (10–12 hours) and Healthstream requirements must be completed per program timelines prior to start
