You will be shown the area with more description during the interview.Job Objective:Prepare warp for tying; assist tie-in operator and tie-in fixer with their duties, assist tie-in operator with pulling over new warp getting knots through reed making sure all ends are drawn properlySafely operates weaving machinesTransport lease rods, bars, and air hose to loomFind correct warp in storage and transport to loom on warp truckReturn empty warps to storage on warp truckLift heavy weightsReplace journal when necessaryClean and lease warpRepair problem warps to avoid retiesHelp pull over warp until knots are past reed and all ends drawn properlyCarry waste and clamps to proper containerRemove temples and cuttersAssist weavers with major breakouts when time allowsFollow safety rules prescribed by plantMust be able to repair warp breaks no matter where they occurMust be able to work safely around moving partsMust be able to step on and off platformMust be able to read basic written instructionsMust be able to wear ear plugs, respirator/dust mask, goggles/eye protection, and other protective pieces of equipmentMust be able to meet Plant schedules and attendance requirements as specified in Company PoliciesMust be able to use a step stoolMust pay normal attention to job duties required to maintain efficiency and qualityOvertime as requiredSchedule:3rd shift: 12am - 8amCompetitive Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, TeladocBasic Term Life/Accidental Death InsuranceShort Term Disability, Long Term DisabilityVoluntary Life InsuranceFree Employee Assistance ProgramFree Onsite Nurse/ClinicIdentity Theft Assistance/ Travel Assistance401KCompany HolidaysPay rate: $14.00 Hourly with $1.00 shift premiumAdvancement opportunities/ internal growth available!No textile experience is needed, although prior textile or manufacturing experience is a plus.
