The CMA or LPN will provide part-time or PRN clinical support in a fast paced, energetic, low stress and fun environment. We are looking for an outgoing, optimistic and friendly CMA/LPN to fill a part-time/PRN roll and that can keep up with a fast paced work environment and multi-task. CMA/LPN must be willing to "upscale" or educated about different medication options.

* Discretion is a must, we have several celebrities that frequent our office.

* This is a 1099 position - paid every week

* Must be willing to work Saturdays from 10am - 2pm

* Must be able to juggle multiple responsibilities - Check-in, Vitals, Education, Payment collection, medication administration and more.

Functional Health and Medical Weight Loss practice serving adult patients. Reporting to the lead provider and practice manager, this role performs routine, provider-directed clinical tasks with limited supervision, with responsibilities varying by credential and experience.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and monitor patients throughout their visits.
• Measure and document vital signs.
• Administer medications under provider direction.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic health records.
• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy-related tasks as qualified.
• Provide patient education and communicate care instructions.
• Schedule patient appointments and support practice sales activities.

 

Required Qualifications

• Active CMA credential or active LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual - English and Spanish
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program for CMA candidates.
• Experience measuring vital signs and administering medications.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation.
• Experience with phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Experience supporting sales activities.
