Shift Details

This position offers a 2x12-hour shift from 10:00 AM to 10:20 PM, Monday through Friday. There may be opportunities to cover additional shifts as needed.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous Charge Experience: 2 years
• Patient Ratio Experience: 1:1 - 1:4
• Charting System: Experience required with Epic
• Preferred Trauma Level: II
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Unit Details

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 25 patients
• Number of Beds: 18
• Special Procedures: Ambulatory outpatient surgery unit, patient preparation for surgery, and recovery.

Special Equipment Used

The unit supports preoperative patient ratios of 1:1 and postoperative ratios of 1:4, ensuring optimal patient care during recovery phases.

Additional Information

Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities if required. Refusal to float may lead to contract termination. Team communication devices, such as cell phones, will be provided for work-related duties at no cost.

References

Two references covering one year of experience within the last three years are required, preferably including Charge RNs or Lead personnel.
