Phlebotomist- Part Time

Phlebotomist – Paterson, NJ Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 6:00am-1:00pm (30min lunch). Travel to additional sites when needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completion of an accredited training program, or 3 months of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking. Strong customer service record. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Range $17.75 - $24.00 per hour. Pay is based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
