Job Description
- Personalized Care Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to assist them in meeting their rehabilitation goals
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside dedicated OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff for a holistic treatment approach
- Educate Patients and Their Support Systems: Guide patients and their families on therapy methods to encourage continual improvement at home
- Track Performance and Adjust Plans: Monitor progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients on a successful path to recovery
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Ongoing education and advanced certifications highly encouraged
- Active OTR/L license required
- NBCOT certification necessary
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve their utmost potential
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy with both patients and coworkers
- Ability to think outside the box and adapt strategies to fulfill varying needs
- Confidence in working autonomously as well as within an integrated team environment
