Senior PLM Technical Program Manager

Salary: $148,700 - 201,200 per year Requirements:

• We require 5 years of technical product or program management experience.
• We require 7 years of direct experience working with engineering teams.
• We expect experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, including process development and release schedule coordination.
• We expect experience building and assessing system-level technical designs.
• We require experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, and systems engineering.
• We require experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Preferred: 5 years of project management experience covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Preferred: 5 years of technical program management experience.
• Preferred: Strong relationship-building skills across all levels and disciplines, with openness to feedback and rapid application of changes.
• Preferred: Ability to work with subject matter experts to gather information, synthesize business and technical concepts, build strategic metrics, and produce original content that supports executive decision-making.
• Preferred: 3 years of experience with PLM, CAD, or manufacturing systems.

• We lead the technical planning, coordination, and execution of multiple programs within our new initiative.
• We manage the full lifecycle of the teams delivering the programs, including architecture, design, implementation, documentation, and measurement.
• We partner with program managers, product managers, and engineers to advance key business initiatives.
• We collaborate with teams across Amazon to plan and deliver complex, highly technical projects with significant visibility and impact.
• We oversee complex PDM/PLM/MCAD and ECAD system implementation projects.
• We work with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule and within budget.
• We help define and prioritize product and feature requirements across MCAD, ECAD, manufacturing, and SAP domains.
• We define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned to business objectives.
• We develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• We manage escalations and resolve misalignments when delivery risks threaten service quality.
• We work with stakeholder teams to determine escalation paths, review processes, and resolution approaches for blockers.
• We communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
