HR Service Tech – Onsite

Location: Houston, TX – Texas Medical Center
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Employment Type: W-2 Only
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

A large hospital in the Texas Medical Center is seeking an experienced HR Service Tech to join its team. This position will primarily support the HR Reception Desk and Badge Room and requires strong customer service, administrative, telephone, and computer skills.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Preferred: 1–4 years of post-secondary education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business preferred

• Business school training or secretarial certification is a plus

Experience

• 4 years of call center experience and/or administrative/clerical experience required

• College education may be considered in lieu of experience

• Strong customer service orientation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Flexible and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to prioritize work in a multi-task environment

• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong PC and keyboard skills

• Excellent telephone and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of HR or call center experience

• Healthcare or hospital experience

   

• Understanding of customer service and call center principles

• Benefits experience

• KRONOS experience

• ServiceNow experience

• PeopleSoft HCM experience

• Bilingual skills

• W-2 candidates only

• Candidate must already reside in the Houston, TX area

• Position is onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to employees and visitors

• Support the HR Reception Desk and Badge Room

• Handle telephone inquiries and provide accurate information

• Perform administrative and clerical duties

• Assist with HR-related processes and employee requests

• Work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

• Maintain accurate information and documentation

• Collaborate with HR team members and other departments
