Supervise, coordinate, and manage all permit/plan activity in the division. Duties include tracking/monitoring permits with the respective regulatory agencies, compiling supporting documents, updating, and maintaining reports, preserving files, communicating with partners/stakeholders, officials/regulatory agencies, Facilities Engineering/Construction teams, etc. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Candidates must have experience working with agencies in:Space FloridaNASABrevard CountySt Johns River Water Management DistrictCity of CocoaCity of TitusvilleResponsibilities:Obtain/log documents from Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and various Vendors to coordinate the permit application processConfirm/track all required approvals for permits and act as liaison between the company and each agency throughout the entire permitting processPrepare and submit application status to various agencies, partners/stakeholders, and boards having jurisdiction over required permits and/or approvalsReview applications/packages issued out of the Facilities Engineering/Construction team, along with all supporting documents for accuracy and confirm that all start packages are completeCoordinate paperwork and applications with outside consultants/contractors as necessaryWork closely with the agencies on the status of permits and ensure they are processed in a timely mannerProduce and maintain schedules for all projects and coordinate with regulatory agencies from permit approval to final stages (CO) of the permitting processEnter, maintain, and update permitting data dailyPrint and prepare template packages for the Facilities Engineering/Construction teamVerify inspections are completed and conditions resolved to obtain Certificate of Occupancies for closingMaintain all company files relating to site plan applications, product approvals, licenses, and permitsCommunicate regularly with the Facilities Engineering/Construction to help troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise in the field to ensure closings are metQualifications:Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience with manufacturing/industrial facility construction and amenity permitting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidateMinimum 7 years in the Construction industry and/or technical construction project management experience is helpfulStrong organizational skills, time management, consistent attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, and take initiative are essential to this roleMust be able to work independently and as a team player, comfortable working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a heavy volume workloadMust be able and/or willing to learn how to read blueprints and plot plansMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Benefits Summary: Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
