Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Per Diem

About the Role:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our guests. You will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists to design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists with the development and implementation of treatment plans, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
Perform rehabilitation therapy treatments, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and modalities
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of guests' physical function, range of motion, strength, and mobility
Document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner
Communicate effectively with guests, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
Participate in guest care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss guests' progress and plan for discharge
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
Completion of a physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
