Position Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic – Cherry Hill, NJ Address: 1003 Astoria Blvd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay Range: $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months. Responsibilities and Qualifications The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer. Tank service and repair Trailer suspension installation and repair Experience with air brake systems and repairs Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards, complete DOT inspections Welding and fabrication experience – TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred Physical Demands The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole.
