About the Position

An established hospital in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist with Obstetrics specialization for an urgent full-time locum assignment starting Asap

This opportunity is OB anesthesia in a busy inpatient setting.

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• 7 days per week coverage needed
• Physicians may work 2–3 consecutive days maximum
• 24-hour in-house call shifts
• No clinic responsibilities

Practice Details

• Inpatient OB services 
• Approximately 2,100 deliveries annually
• ~25% C-section rate
  No telehealth
• EMR: Cerner

✔ OB Hospitalist onsite
✔ Imaging, lab, and pharmacy services available

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for obstetric patients
• Manage epidurals and C-sections
• In-house 24-hour coverage
• Collaborate with OB team for labor & delivery support

✅ Requirements 

✔ Board Certified in Anesthesiology
✔ Active Iowa License
✔ Recent NPDB (within last month or 90 days max)
