T26/27 SPECIAL ED TEACHER - INTERLUDE (WAKEFIELD) Arlington, VA, United States Job Description This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Wakefield High School for SY27. Qualifications Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure. Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required. Experience Teaching experience in the above mentioned areas. Knowledge of best instructional practices. Ability to integrate technology. Experience in educational and instructional leadership Responsibilities Implements instructional programs that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materials. Maintains safe and orderly environment. Communicates with parents/guardians. Maintains complete and accurate student records. Collaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members. Monitors and assesses student achievement. Attends ongoing professional learning and meetings. Salary based on the 2026-27 salary schedule.
