Role Description The Service Coordinator is a full-time role based in Califon, New Jersey, with future possibility of work from home for select days. This role is responsible for coordinating UPS service activities, including scheduling preventative and emergency maintenance, organizing installation visits, and managing service calendars for field technicians. The Service Coordinator will track work orders, update service records, and ensure accurate documentation in internal systems. Daily responsibilities include communicating with clients regarding service requests, confirming appointment details, addressing routine inquiries, and following up on open issues to support a positive customer experience. The role also involves collaborating with operations and sales teams to prioritize service needs, monitor resource allocation, and help maintain smooth, efficient service delivery across multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Service Coordination skills, including scheduling, task tracking, and managing multiple service requests concurrently.
- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build rapport with clients and support a positive, solutions-oriented experience.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with clients, technicians, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess basic Operations Management capabilities, such as prioritizing work, understanding workflows, and supporting process efficiency.
- Relevant experience in a service-oriented or technical field (e.g., power systems, electrical services, facilities, or related industries) is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with standard office software and Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively in a hybrid environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
