We are partnering with a well-established organization to identify an Accountant to join its growing corporate accounting team. This role provides broad exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, process improvement initiatives, and month-end close. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys hands-on accounting work, and is looking for a company that invests in employee growth and development.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries across various general ledger accounts, including cash, accruals, intercompany transactions, financing activities, taxes, and interest expense
  
  
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
  
  
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting schedules
  
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  
  
• Support treasury and cash management functions
  
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
  
  
• Assist with audits, special projects, and ad hoc financial reporting
  
  
• Partner with accounting leadership on ongoing departmental initiatives

Ideal Background

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  
  
• 2 years of progressive accounting experience
  
  
• Public accounting (Audit or Assurance) experience is welcomed but not required
  
  
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
  
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas
  
  
• Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
  
  
• CPA or active pursuit of CPA preferred but not required
  
  
• Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
