Data Engineer

Overview RuralMutualInsurance is looking for an experienced and motivated data professional to play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s data warehouse and related data marts. As a Data Engineer , you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing datapipelines, ensuring data quality, and building data models that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data engineering and data modeling principles, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable datapipelines and data models on cloud technologies. Remote/work location This is a remote position with periodic on-site presence required. Candidates must live and work in Wisconsin and have eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the company’s data warehouse and related data marts. Implement and optimize data pipelines to ensure data quality and timely delivery. Build and maintain data models to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. Qualifications Deep understanding of data engineering and data modeling principles. Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines and data models in cloud environments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
