Job Title

RN – OB (Registered Nurse, Obstetrics)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients throughout an assigned shift
• Prescribe and implement nursing care plans based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and patient/family input
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary health care team members to coordinate and deliver patient care across applicable age groups
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff in accordance with their clinical competence and legal scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 6 months of hire
• EPIC electronic health record experience within the last 12 months required
• Recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must identify the charting system used

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
• Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (required for Labor & Delivery within 6 and 12 months of hire, respectively)
